Five-Day Comprehensive Dental Health Camp at puttaparthi
Introduction
Access to timely dental care remains a challenge in many rural communities, where untreated oral diseases often affect overall health and quality of life. Recognising this need, Global First Responder organised a five-day Comprehensive Dental Health Camp in the Puttaparthi region to deliver preventive and basic restorative dental care to underserved communities. Smileguard proudly extended its clinical support to this humanitarian initiative by providing experienced dental professionals and treatment services.
The clinical activities throughout the camp were led by Dr. Sarath Gangisetty, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, who played a central role in planning, supervising and delivering dental treatments. Under his guidance, the camp focused on early diagnosis, preventive
care, patient education and immediate treatment for common dental conditions. Over five consecutive days, Dr Sarath and the clinical team served hundreds of patients across different locations, ensuring that every individual received personalised dental attention.
The camp offered a complete range of essential dental services, including oral health screening, professional scaling, dental fillings, fluoride gel application and tooth extractions whenever clinically required. Along with treatment, patients were educated about proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental check-ups to reduce future oral health complications.
