Account Deletion
This page explains how you can request deletion of your Smileguard account and what happens to your data when you do.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request account deletion using either of the following methods:
Option 1: Delete In-App
- Open the Smileguard app
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion when prompted
Option 2: Request via Email
If you’re unable to access the app, send a deletion request to:
Email: info@smileguard Subject line: “Account Deletion Request” Please include: The mobile number or email address registered with your account
We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.
What Gets Deleted
Once your account deletion is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted or anonymized:

Analytics data tied to your identity (Firebase) | Anonymized/disassociated from your account |
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion, where required for:
- Legal, tax, or regulatory compliance
- Fraud prevention and security purposes
- Resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements
Any such retained data will be kept only as long as necessary and will be deleted afterward in accordance with our data retention practices, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email/notification once the deletion is complete.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you have any active subscriptions or pending transactions, please resolve them before requesting deletion.
- Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account or data – you must follow the steps above.
